Local tour companies formally found the Savannah Association of Local Tour (SALT) as an advocacy group for local businesses to campaign against detrimental changes and bureaucratic overreach.
Meetings with Tourism Department

Local tour companies attend three meetings with Tourism officials, but despite expression of disatisfaction with the proposals, the pilot project is not paused.
